International cooperation between Kyiv National University of Technology and Design with the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern, Germany

In the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Kiev National University of Technology and Design and the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern (Pirmasens, Germany), a delegation from Germany visited. As part of professors Rudiger Grach (Logistics, transport), Alexander Lavrov (Logistics, information technology), Jens Schuster (Technologies manufacturing of plastics), Christian Schwarz (Technology manufacturing of footwear and leather).

The Kyiv National University of Technology and Design was represented at the meeting by: prof. Garkavenko S., prof. Chaban V., associate professor of the department of Design and technologies of leather products Shchutska A. V. and postgraduate student of the department of Design and technologies of leather products Stetsiuk I.

During the visit, representatives of the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern (Germany) visited the "Laboratory of educational, industrial practice and scientific research" of the department of Design and technology of leather products.

Representatives of the delegation from Germany got acquainted with the works of students of the Department of Design and technology of leather products.

The result of successful cooperation was the internship of the postgraduate student Iryna Stetsyuk at the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern, the city of Pirmasens.

During the internship documents of the quality system and certification of light industry products of the European CADS association were studied. The CADS organization is investigating the presence of harmful substances in shoes and preventing further use of these substances in the production of footwear. Experimental research was carried out in the laboratory of the department of "Technology of manufacture of footwear and leather".

The received certificate became the result of successful internship of the postgraduate student of the department of Design and technology of leather products Stetsuk I.O. at the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern (Pirmasens, Germany)
