We are pleased to announce a student exchange program with Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU), one of our Partner Universities and one of Poland’s leading higher education institutions! The university is located in the picturesque city of Poznan and is famous for its rich academic traditions and a wide range of educational programs.

Program Details:

• Duration: Spring Semester, 2025;
• Location: Poznań, Republic of Poland;
• Opportunities: Selected students will have the opportunity to study at Adam Mickiewicz University without paying tuition fees. However, students will need to cover travel expenses, as well as accommodation and living costs. Public transportation in Poznań is convenient and affordable. With an AMU student ID, you will receive a 50% discount on transportation tickets, making it easy to get around the city and visit the University campuses.

Accommodation:

• Guaranteed Housing: The two top students from each partner university will be guaranteed a place in AMU dormitories. Other students will need to arrange accommodation independently, but AMU will assist in finding suitable housing options.

Flexibility in Course Selection:

• AMU offers more than 200 courses in English across various fields, allowing students to choose courses from different faculties to tailor their education to their interests. While the majority of courses should align with the main field of study (50% of the selection), there is also an opportunity to explore other academic paths.

Student Support:

• AMU provides comprehensive support to students, including the "Buddy" program from ESN, as well as various events and excursions to help you integrate into the local community and explore the region.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

– to study at the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design at the first (Bachelor's) level of higher education starting from the second semester of obtaining higher education;

– to have an average score of academic success points not lower than 75 (C/Good) according to the 100-point evaluation system;

– to speak English (B2);

– the educational components of the student`s current study program must correspond with the study program at the partner HEI;

– do not have academic debt;

– have a recommendation for participation from the relevant department and faculty / institute (excerpt from the meeting).

To apply for the competitive selection for study in the spring semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, you must submit your application by October 23, 2024 (inclusive) with the following documents:

To apply you need to:

1. Collect the following documents for submission to the selection committee of the relevant faculty / institute:

1.1. scan copy of valid International Passport;

1.2. resume / CV (Europass format);

1.3. extract from the individual study plan of the student (with a note about the absence of academic debt);

1.4. a certificate confirming knowledge of English language (B2) (official certificates such as TOEFL, IELTS, PLIDA, etc. will be preferred). If you do not have a certificate, your level of English will be assessed at the meeting of the competition commission;

1.5. motivation letter in English (1 page max. of A4 format);

1.6. Learning Agreement for Studies (the list of courses for must be agreed with the dean's office and partner HEI for further partial or full re-enrollment of selected educational components).
