General information

Dear students!

Studying program “Entrepreneurship in the hotel and restaurant business” trains highly skilled professionals in the hospitality industry.

Graduates have wide range of opportunities:

– to hold a position of hotel director, chief restaurant manager, head of a small hotel in the hotel and restaurant business, etc.

– to gain second higher education degree in all the specialties, offered in KNUTD;

– to study foreign languages;

– to get involved in student activities (athletics, arts, drama and dance etc.);

– studying at Military Training Department.

Objective:

Acquiring theoretical knowledge, basic and professional competencies, applied skills and abilities to solve professional problems in the field of hotel and restaurant business.

Results:

 

After finishing studies, the bachelor in specialty “ Exhibition business ” will obtain knowledge in:

- methodological base of organization of business activity in the hotel and restaurant business;

- innovative technologies in the hospitality industry;

- the concept of positioning services in the hospitality industry;

- the basics of management and marketing in the hotel and restaurant business;

- methodological bases of economic safety of subjects of hotel and restaurant activity.

Bachelor will learn how to:

- diagnose the organizational structure of hotel and restaurant business management;

- analyze the business environment for the opening of the hotels and restaurants;

- generate business ideas for organization of hotel and restaurant business;

- accept and realize optimal business decisions in hotel and restaurant activity;

- form and implement decisions for hotel and restaurant business management;

- manage the business activities of hotel and restaurant business enterprises;

- evaluate the economic and communicative efficiency of hotel and restaurant business.
