Aim:

Formation and development of general and professional competences in the field of automation and computer-integrated technologies

Learning outcomes:

Upon completion of the Bachelor program, student will acquire following knowledge and understanding:

• ability to apply modern information technologies and have the skills to develop algorithms and computer programs, using high-level languages and object-oriented programming technologies, create databases and use Internet resources;
• ability to use variety of specialized software, in order to solve typical engineering problems in the automation industry, in particular: mathematical modeling, computer-aided design, database management, computer graphics methods;
• ability to apply methods of the theory of automatic control, for the development of mathematical and simulation models of automated systems using computer technology;
• ability to justify choice of technical means of automation based on the requirements for modern digital automation systems;
• ability to use knowledge in the field of automation and computer-integrated technologies, in particular, the creation of automated workstations for operators of production processes based on SCADA-systems;
• ability to design multilevel control and data collection systems for the formation of a base of process parameters and their visualization, by means of a human-machine interface and the latest computer-integrated technologies.
