Levels of education for which recruitment is carried out:
The first (bachelor's) level of higher education.
The second (master's) level of higher education.
Training is conducted by state order and at the expense of individuals or legal entities.
To enter for a master's degree, entrants take entrance exams.
Upon successful completion of their studies, graduates receive a diploma of basic or complete higher education of the established state standard in the specialty 022 Design:
Students of the Department of Ergonomics and Design, as a result of obtaining the degree of "Bachelor of Design," have the opportunity to continue their master's degree in the educational program "Design (by type)", specialization "Design of accessories and jewelry", which operates at the department the qualification "Master of Design" according to the relevant master's program.
Admission to the educational degree "bachelor" and "master" is carried out by the "Rules of admission to the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design."

Students majoring in "Design of accessories and jewelry" receive a bachelor's degree in design and can be realized in the design activities of design objects, the technology of their manufacture and restoration, creation and promotion of unique elements that make the image harmonious and completed - hats, bags, jewelry, gloves, belts, scarves, shawls, ties, etc. There are specialized classes, educational and creative workshops, and educational and research laboratories to ensure a high level of training at the department.
Applicants for the master's degree receive professional creative training, the necessary knowledge of artistic design, modern modeling methods, the technology of creating objects of design, quality control, and evaluation of accessories and jewelry using information technology.
Curricula develop individual perception and creative thinking of students, and highly qualified teachers of the department with practical experience in jewelry and accessory design provide diverse knowledge in the field of design and art and commercially successful fashion industry of accessories and jewelry.
In the process of learning, students receive professional creative training, the necessary knowledge of artistic design, modern modeling methods, the technology of creating design objects, quality control and evaluation of accessories and jewelry, engineering and technological equipment, and information technology.
As a result of training, students acquire the following skills:
During their studies, students take part in national and international competitions for young fashion designers, undergo internships at the best domestic enterprises, fashion houses, and design studios, etc.
Students are provided with modern educational and methodical literature and information about the latest technologies in design, have the opportunity to master modern design programs of computer graphics.
The place of professional activity of the designer of accessories and jewelry is:
Students of the Department of Ergonomics and Design have the opportunity, studying in the 3rd and 4th years, to receive military education and receive a state diploma.
Students of all forms of education can be admitted to military training (based on the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, which conducts military training of students under the reserve officers training program together with the National Defense University of Ukraine with the subsequent assignment of officer ranks). Both guys and girls can undergo military training if they wish.
All students of the Faculty of Design, who live in cities and towns outside of the Kyiv and the Kyiv region, are provided with accommodation in a dormitory located near the educational buildings.
