On August 21, 2023, a joint meeting of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Design and the scientific seminar dedicated to the annual certification of postgraduate students of the Faculty of Design at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design took place. At the event, postgraduate students of all the years (from the first to the fourth) of the specialization "Design" had the opportunity to comprehensively present the results of their research activities throughout the year and share their accomplishments.

The seminar on the annual certification of postgraduate students was inaugurated by Oksana Pasko, Dean of the Faculty of Design. In her opening speech, she emphasized the importance of continuing scientific work during the challenging times of military conflict in our country.

During the seminar, the Dean of the Faculty of Design invited postgraduate students of all the years to give presentations. The process included a scholarly discussion during which the graduate students were called upon to answer questions posed by highly qualified professors and experienced scholars, such as Doctor of Art History Tetiana Krotova, Doctor of Engineering Kalyna Pashkevych, Doctor of Pedagogy Volodymyr Tymenko, Doctor of Philosophy Oleksandra Kolisnyk, and Doctor of Architecture Vadym Abyzov, and the graduate students’ supervisors.

The graduate students themselves also joined the discussion, making structured and balanced presentations that reflected the essence of their research. This added an additional aspect to the scientific discussion, allowing the audience to assess not only the depth of knowledge but also the ability of the graduate students to present their scientific achievements in a reasoned manner.

This scientific seminar has become a platform for exchanging ideas, stimulating scientific activity, and raising the professional level of postgraduate students. It reflects an important stage in the educational process where young scientists can demonstrate their achievements and receive constructive advice from recognized design experts.
