VISITING THE RESIDENTS OF THE HOSTEL BY THE GROUP CURATORS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ART AND FASHION DESIGN

On September 13, 2023, the curators and the head of the Department of Art and Fashion Design (AFD) of the Faculty of Design visited the student hostel No. 7.

Head of the Department of Art and Fashion Design Kalyna Pashkevych, Doctor of Engineering, professor and curators Halyna Kokorina, PhD, associate professor, Iryna Davydenko, associate professor, Iryna Chubotina, PhD, senior lecturer, Olena Herasymenko, PhD, associate professor, Petro Garkin, associate professor, familiarized themselves with the living conditions of students of the 022 Design specialty, the educational program "Fashion Design", asked about the current household problems of students, especially of the 1st-year students who have just started their studies.

The students showed the curators their rooms, kitchen, shower room, and shelter which are clean, neat and tidy, and told them about the well-organized registration procedure this year, about the plans to improve living conditions in their rooms, pointed out that they were satisfied with the conditions and living in the KNUTD campus is comfortable.

 

The academic staff of the AFD Department held a conversation with students about the rules of conduct in the hostel, warned them about the need to follow the rules of the campus, use electricity and water economically, go down to the shelter during air-raid alarms, contact the curators in case of questions, and immediately report all emergencies to the head of the hostel and the campus duty officer.

The head of the hostel, Nataliia Lihachova, also joined the conversation and stressed the importance of students keeping their rooms and common areas clean and tidy and taking out the rubbish in a timely manner.

Such visits to the hostel by group curators are systematic and regular because this is an integral part of the educational process carried out at our University.
