On October 12, 2023, a complex lecture "Levkas and its application in modern design" by Leonid Bernat and Sviatoslav Podlevskyi, associate professors of the Department of Graphic Design, was held at the "White world" Contemporary Art Center, Kyiv. The event took place in the context of the closing of the third All-Ukrainian Levkas Biennial. The lecture was attended by the students and academic staff of the Department of Graphic Design, among whom were Nataliya Chuprina, guarantor of the "Graphic Design" educational program, Yevhen Gula, head of the Department of Graphic Design, Oleksandra Kolisnyk, professor. The main concept of the lecture was not only to introduce exhibition visitors to the context and features of levkas technology but also to reveal the possibilities of its use in modern design.
