On October 10, 2019, the 3rd International International Conference on Mechatronic Systems: Innovation and Engineering MSIE - 2019 was held at the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design.

The purpose of the conference is to exchange scientific achievements and practical experience in the field of mechatronic, electrotechnical, electromechanical systems, mechatronic information devices, energy efficiency, environmental protection and technical regulation of Ukraine in the light of European integration.

The conference was opened by Professor Mykola Zenkin, Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technology.

The Vice-Rector of the University for Educational Activities, Professor Svitlana Harkavenko, addressed the conference participants and guests with a welcome address. She conveyed the best congratulations and wishes of fruitful work to the participants of the conference from the rector of the University, Academician Ivan Gryshchenko.

The conference was attended by scientists and business representatives from Ukraine, Turkey, Italy, Germany, Jordan, Switzerland, Australia, South Africa, Lebanon, Chile, Poland and the United States of America.

Part of the conference presentation was presented at a poster session where the authors could share their scientific achievements in the form of casual communication.

The conference participants and guests agreed on the next meeting a year later.

The conference also hosted a working meeting between Rector of the University Academician Ivan Gryshchenko and Deputy Director of Scientific Work of the Institute of Technical Thermophysics of the NAS of Ukraine  Vitaliy Babak, which discussed further cooperation between the scientists of the University and the National Academy of Sciences.

We were pleased to welcome guests and participants of the conference, because in the combination of science and production we see the future, both of our own innovative projects and the development of mechatronics in Ukraine.
