Dear students, PhD students and teachers!

We would like to inform you that in accordance with the Program of Cooperation between Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of Slovak Republic Slovak bilateral scholarships for Ukrainian citizens in higher education institutions of the Slovak Republic will be provided. In particular, in the 2021/2022 academic year, quotas are provided for Ukrainians:

• up to 5 scholarships for study stays of students (bachelor/master level) for partial study in higher education institutions (term: up to 10 months);
• up to 5 scholarships for lecturing or research stays of university teachers or researchers (term: up to 10 months);
• up to 5 scholarships for the Summer school of Slovak language and culture (Studia Academica Slovaca) in August 2021.

If necessary, language training is possible as part of learning.

Slovak Republic will provide Ukrainian citizens with:

• free education;
• payment of a scholarship in the amounts established in the Slovak Republic: for students (bachelor/master level) 280 € per month; for PhD students 330 € per month; for university teachers or researchers 550 € per month;
• accommodation in student campus.

In view of the situation regarding the dissemination of COVID-19, Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic has taken new measures to pay scholarships in the event of an emergency. In case of change of full-time form on distance learning during the academic year, due to an emergency, the scholarship is provided in the amount of 50% of the total monthly payment.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine will accept applications (completed application form and necessary documents) in electronic and printed format in 2 copies (documents must be sent in both formats).
