VІ International conference for international students “Dialogue of Cultures in the European Education Space” completed its work

On May 11, 2021 VІ International conference for international students “Dialogue of Cultures in the European Education Space” was held at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design within the framework of Europe Day and Ukrainian Science Day activities.

The conference was held by Foreign Languages Department, Institute of Law and Modern Learning Technologies. This remarkable event was organized within the framework of British Council Creative Spark project and with the support of International Cultural and Educational Association (ICEA), Muslim Magomayev Azerbaijan Culture Center and Azerbaijan Writers Union.

The co-organizers of the conference are: Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University (Vinnytsia), Taurida National V. I. Vernadsky University, Kyiv National Linguistic University, Kryvyi Rih National University, Swiss Montreux Business School, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Tashkent Medical Academy (Uzbekistan), Department of Ukrainian Studies at the Institute of Slavic Studies of the University of Wroclaw (Poland), International Cultural and Educational Association (USA), Academic Society of Michal Baludansky (Slovakia), Istanbul University Language Center, the company “European Education in Ukraine”, Union of Azerbaijan Youth in Ukraine.

The conference participants expressed their gratitude to the University administration, the co-organizers, guests, students and their research supervisors; noticed the potential of scientific development, attractiveness and competitiveness of international cooperation and training foreign students of KNUTD.

Communicating across cultures and competing globally determine success; develop cultural awareness, critical thinking skills, and communicative proficiency essential to navigate in a complex global environment.

In general, more than 80 representatives of the academic staff, young scientists and students from KNUTD, co-sponsoring universities, different Ukrainian regions, many countries such as the USA, Poland, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Uzbekistan, Ecuador, China, South Korea, Nigeria, Iraq, Algeria, and Turkey and partner firms presented their papers. The reports arouse the interest and active discussion of the participants and guests.

The conference organizers awarded the most active participants with honorary diplomas.
