On November 26, 2021, the Kyiv International University of Technology and Design hosted the V International Scientific and Practical Conference "KyivPharma-2021. Pharmacology and pharmaceutical technology in ensuring active longevity. The conference is organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine.

The purpose of the event was to exchange scientific and practical experience with representatives of related universities, research institutions, enterprises and the business community to promote scientific advances in the development and production of medicines, discuss prospects for the pharmaceutical industry and its European integration, training specialists for the Ukrainian pharmaceutical industry.

The main partner of the conference was the joint-stock company "Farmak" - the leader of the pharmaceutical industry of Ukraine. The partners of the conference were the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine and the L.M. Litvinenko Institute of Physical and Organic Chemistry and Coal Chemistry  of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The main information partner is the "Morion" publishing house of pharmaceutical literature, and "Apteka" weekly magazine.

The conference was held in face-to-face and remote form, on-line with using ZOOM technical means.

The scientific directions of the conference were:

1. Development, research of properties and production of active pharmaceutical ingredients, medicines and cosmetic products.

2. Physico-organic chemistry of biologically active substances.

3. Molecular pharmacology and hemogenomics.

4. Fundamental and applied gerontology.

5. Modern technologies of diploma and postgraduate training of specialists.

During the conference, more than 50 scientists, graduate students, undergraduates, experts from Ukraine and the European Union discussed the most important issues of modern pharmaceutical science and practice, the needs and challenges of the domestic pharmaceutical industry.
