On November 24, 2022, the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Mechatronic Systems: Innovations and Engineering" – "MSIE -2022" was held at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design on the basis of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies.
The purpose of the conference is to resolve current issues and exchange experience in the field of mechatronic systems with representatives of related institutions of higher education, scientific institutions, and industries of Ukraine and abroad, in particular, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Turkey, Switzerland, Great Britain, Egypt, and the USA.
The leading institutions of higher education from different regions of Ukraine also took part in the conference, including the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", Khmelnytskyi National University, Lutsk National University, Zaporizhia National Technical University, Odesа Polytechnic National University, KROK University, Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy, Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The topic of the conference covered three scientific areas:
1) innovations and engineering of mechatronic, electrotechnical, and electromechanical systems;
2) engineering of intellectual and information and communication technologies and systems;
3) technical regulation of Ukraine in the context of European integration.
For the third year in a row, the work of the conference took place in a hybrid mode using the Zoom platform. Based on the results of the conference, a collection of abstracts was published.
On behalf of the Rector of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology, Ivan HRYSCHENKО, the conference was opened by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities of KNUTD, Professor, Doctor of Economic Sciences Lyudmila HANUSHCHAK-YEFIMENKO.
Lyudmila Mykhailivna emphasized the importance of holding an annual conference on such issues as mechatronics and engineering, which are relevant for the scientific community, expressed her gratitude to foreign colleagues who support the conference every year, and wished everyone good health and fruitful work.
The moderator of the conference, Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Volodymyr PAVLENKO, started the conference.

The VI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Mechatronic Systems: Innovations and Engineering" – "MSIE-2022" was held at a high scientific and organizational level, it was sufficiently informative and useful for a wide range of listeners. This was facilitated by meaningful reports and scientific discussions, which will be the basis for the development of new innovative projects in the field of mechatronics and engineering.
