On April 5, 2023, the Department of Biotechnology, Leather and Fur held a Hospitality Day for graduates of the Skif Academic Lyceum in Shpytkiv.

The event included master classes in biology and chemistry. In the specialized laboratories of the Department of Biotechnology, Leather and Fur, the students acquired skills in conducting qualitative reactions of various groups of cations and anions, isolated chlorophyll from spinach leaves, and observed plasmolysis and deplasmolysis in plant cells.

With the support of Tetiana Derkach, Dean of the Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies, Victoria Plavan, Head of the Department of Chemical Technologies and Resource Conservation, and representatives from the Department of Industrial Pharmacy, the educational programs were presented. The students were particularly interested in the capabilities of the 3D printing and molecular pharmacology, chemogenomics, and biogerontology laboratories.

Volodymyr Pavlenko, Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies, conducted tours to the laboratories and computer classes and spoke in detail about the admission to the Faculty’s educational programs.

The representatives of the Faculty of Arts and Fashion prepared bright presentations of creative works and designer collections of shoes and clothes of students to add vivid impressions of visiting KNUTD and inspire the lyceum students to successfully choose their future profession.
