Integration trends in the conditions of war, growing uncertainty, market turbulence and structural transformations of the national economy lead to the search for coordination of the interests of partner entities, the implementation of a balanced cluster policy and active actions in terms of scientific, technological and socio-economic development.

For eight years, the Educational Investment and Technology Cluster of Light Industry has been operating on the basis of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design in the city of Kyiv. On April 11, 2023, the partnership was joined by a new academic stakeholder, the Lviv University of Trade and Economics.

During the visit to the Lviv University of Trade and Economics, a cooperation agreement was signed, and within the framework of this event, I.M. Hryshchenko, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and Deputy Chairman of the Cluster Council, Director of RA.DA LLC, A.S. Prokhorovskyi. presented the results of the Cluster's work in wartime conditions.

Currently, during the war, the cluster movement is mobilizing, because clusters are a powerful tool not only in industrial policy, they play one of the key roles in regional and innovation policies and are the main tool for smart specialization of regions.

Cluster participants will implement joint projects to gain competitive advantages by consolidating the efforts of all participants to achieve a synergistic effect of development not only of cluster members, but also of the cities of Kyiv and Lviv as a whole, this is a new "architecture" and "design of cooperation between business, science and government".
