On May 11, 2023, academic staff and students from the Department of Information and Computer Technologies and the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, participated in a working online meeting with representatives of the company «HYDRO-GID» LLC (Kharkiv).
The company «HYDRO-GID» has been operating on the Ukrainian market since 2016 and is one of the leaders in the field of engineering support for industrial hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, lubrication systems and production automation systems.
Regina Gorlenko, the HRD specialist of «HYDRO-GID» LLC, acquainted the students with the company's field of activity, provided detailed information about hydraulic equipment and automation systems designed and manufactured by the company. She also familiarized them with the current requirements for professionals in the job market and discussed employment opportunities for students.
During his presentation, Dmitry Hmyria, an engineer at «HYDRO-GID» LLC, discussed modern software and the unique aspects of designing hydraulic equipment and automation tools used by the company. He also shared his personal experience with employment and emphasized the importance of students participation in conferences, competitions, and scientific research.
The meeting took place in a friendly and warm atmosphere. The students were interested in the opportunities for internships and employment within the company, as well as the technical aspects of hydraulic equipment automation.
Together with colleagues from the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute,» Khmelnytskyi National University, and Kherson National Technical University, we discussed collaboration and the relevance of educational programs in the specialties of 151 «Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies,» 174 «Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies, and Robotics,» 131 «Applied Mechanics,» and 133 «Industrial Mechanical Engineering.»
Conducting such meetings has significant practical importance as it allows for maintaining relationships between entrepreneurs and higher education institutions, promoting further cooperation, and providing additional motivation for students' learning and future development.
