VISITING THE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION "KYIVBUILD UKRAINE 2023" AS PART OF THE WORK OF THE SCIENTIFIC CIRCLE "USE OF MODERN TECHNOLOGIES IN INTERIOR DESIGN"

On May 17, 2023, participants of the scientific circle "Use of Modern Technologies in Interior Design" (headed by associate professor of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design Tetiana Bulhakova) visited the international exhibition "KyivBuild Ukraine 2023". This is the largest annual construction and interior exhibition in Ukraine. This year, it featured the participation of 161 companies, including manufacturers and suppliers of construction materials, specialized equipment, and interior products.

The club participants visited the booths of several companies, including "Ergolife", engaged in the production of acoustic PET panels and noise-absorbing interior design; "Ft professional", a brand that combines European technologies and materials, serving as a foundation for the production of high-quality lacquer and paint products in Ukraine; "KOUTEKS-UKRAINE", a Ukrainian manufacturer of polymer materials and self-leveling floors; "Dobra Pidloga", offering a wide range of floor coverings (laminate, vinyl, parquet, hardwood flooring); "UASTAL", capable of realizing various artistic metal designs, including laser cutting, artistic forging, and the production of custom metal products, among others; and "Tiger", a manufacturer of exclusive glass decor items for interior and exterior use, including facade glazing, various types of fences, decorative panels with nanotechnological printing, tiles, mosaics, stained glass, decorative triplex, and more.

As a result of the exhibition visit, a wealth of material was gathered for further research on modern trends, energy-saving technologies, innovative finishing, acoustic and decorative materials, and technological techniques for their use in environmental design. The club participants familiarized themselves with Ukrainian manufacturers, representatives of renowned companies and brands in the field of construction and interior design. Preliminary agreements were reached regarding the possibility of conducting seminars and open lectures based on these manufacturing facilities, which is particularly relevant for exploring the use of modern technologies in interior design for higher education students in the field of environmental design.
