On June 1, 2023, in the "Art Space" Exhibition Center of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, an enchanting presentation of a variety of colors of sophisticated works of fine art took place, filling the entire space of the exhibition hall – the Basanets family represented an art exhibition called "Loyalty to Traditions". The Basanets family is represented by the father - Petro Basanets, a prominent Ukrainian artist, and Yurii and Oleksandra Basanets - his children, who are faithful successors of their father's important work in the artistic formation of creative youth and in respect for the painting tradition. This inspiring and fascinating event has retained its special charm even in the difficult times that have engulfed our country. The ceremonial part of the event was opened by Ivan Gryshchenko, Rector of KNUTD, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, and Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Ivan Mykhailovych congratulated the artists and everyone present at this event.

And he also emphasized that, based on his deep conviction, there is hope that art can become a support and a source of inner strength for each of us. His words were full of faith and gratitude to artists who continue to create and give joy even in difficult circumstances.
Yurii and Oleksandra Basanets proudly shared the story of their creative family with the audience. Their words inspire and fascinate with the love of detail, talent, and boundless passion for art, which have inspired this family from generation to generation.

The ceremonial opening took place against the background of musical accompaniment, which created a really cozy and soulful atmosphere. The shrill sounds of the bandura were masterfully transformed into musical melodies that captured the hearts of those present. The play of bandurists Anna Shapoval, an intern, laureate of international and all-Ukrainian competitions, and Ihor Taran, a 3rd-year student of the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music, a laureate of the all-Ukrainian competition, became a symbol of strength and revival, awakening the spirit of the nation in difficult times.
Musical greetings from Anna Shapoval and Ihor Taran
Let's study, respect, and admire wonderful Ukrainian art! Together to our victory!
