The project " UKRAINE SUPPORTS FASHION EDUCATION" was created at the initiative of the teachers of the Department of Fashion Technology to strengthen students’ motivation and develop their creative potential improving their professional level.

"UKRAINE SUPPORTS FASHION EDUCATION" started its work at the end of 2022. But even in the extremely difficult conditions of martial law and the energy crisis, meetings were held with the leading specialist of Helen Marlen, the director of the boutique and ambassador of the Santoni brand Artem KYCHA, and the designer and founder of «Kofta studio» Kostiantyn KOFTA.

An online meeting was held with Serhii LAVRUSENKO, a leading fashion photographer, photo studio owner, and studio lighting instructor.

On May 26, 2023, within the framework of the special project of mentoring support for creative youth "UKRAINE SUPPORTS FASHION EDUCATION", a meeting was held with Katrin NIKITINA-KORIN, a stylist-consultant at the Saint Laurent boutique (YSL).

Katrin has more than 5 years of experience as a personal stylist and has almost 500 clients, including Ruslan Bahinsky (famous hat designer), Maryna Avdieieva (director of Arsenal), Marharita Storozhenko (Ukrainian model), and others. The event was held on the occasion of the Light Industry Workers' Day professional holiday.

The meeting was attended by more than 50 students from the Faculties of Arts and Fashion, Design, Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies of various educational programs.

The project is conducting lectures with fashion industry professionals from various fields. Such meetings and the practical experience of the project lecturers are very important and valuable for students of the leading design education institution in Ukraine.
