On August 28, 2023, at the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, a lecture by the head of the Center for Quality Management of Educational Activities, Professor Olena Stepanova, was held on the topic: "The policy of forming academic integrity" for students of the Faculty of Management and Business Design. At which the following were presented: the Code of Academic Integrity, general current university regulations, and advanced European practices.

The basic principles of academic integrity, which should be guided by all participants in the educational process, were explained, and a list of issues with which first-year students should familiarize themselves was presented. The meaning of the concepts: "academic plagiarism", "self-plagiarism", "falsification", "fabrication", "non-objective assessment", "bribery", "deception", etc.

As part of a lively discussion with students, Prof. O. Stepanova voiced the main problems of the policy of academic integrity, and provided suggestions for the promotion of academic integrity among the participants of the educational process at KNUTD.
