Coordination meeting of the organisers and participants of the professional development programme within the framework of the ERASMUS+ project "INTERNATIONAL NETWORK OF VIRTUAL YOUTH BUSINESS HUBS" VEHUB4YOU

On 28 February 2024, the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design hosted the first coordination meeting of the organisers and participants of the professional programme "Use of Information, Communication and Digital Technologies in the Educational Process" within the framework of the Erasmus+ grant project "INTERNATIONAL NETWORK OF VIRTUAL YOUTH BUSINESS HUBS" VEHUB4YOU, co-funded by the European Union and implemented jointly with the project teams of the University of Foggia (Italy), RISEBA University of Applied Sciences (Latvia), Mingachevir State University (Azerbaijan), Kyiv Youth Education and Training Centre KETY (Ukraine), and the International NGO Institute for Social and Economic Initiatives (ISEI) (Ukraine) with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. 

 

The purpose of the Programme is to improve the competence of educators in the use of information, communication and digital technologies in virtual exchanges and learning.

The Professional Development Programme is open to school teachers, teachers of higher and secondary specialised education institutions, who, as a result of their participation in the Programme, become facilitators and, together with teams (students or pupils), create virtual digital business hubs in their educational institutions.   

The benefits of participating in the Programme for its participants include

- research of the latest practices of virtual exchanges on the example of the best European universities;

- Acquiring competences in the use of modern information and communication tools of online education in the educational process;

- participation in trainings, workshops and work with mentors to develop practical skills in the use of information and communication and digital technologies in the educational process;

- access to business courses of the best European universities;

- participation in practical activities to open and organise virtual business hubs and the opportunity to present their own virtual exchange project;

- development of Soft Skills or key skills of the future, in particular, foreign language skills, communication skills, digital skills, etc. through international exchanges, staying in the international educational environment and implementing joint projects;     

- obtaining an internationally recognised certificate of participation in the Advanced Training Programme.

Course duration: 180 hours (6 credits)

Implementation period: 6 months.

Form of study: distance learning (synchronous and asynchronous classes, international virtual mobility).

Document confirming the completion of training: internationally recognised certificate of advanced training (September 2024).

Participation in the Advanced Training Programme is free of charge for project partners and participants. 

The meeting was opened by the coordinators of the VEHUB4YOU International Network of Virtual Youth Business Hubs of Ukraine and Azerbaijan, Head of the project team of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Business Design, Doctor of Economics, Professor Oleksandra Olshanska. In her speech, she presented the main goal and objectives of the grant project, the stages of its implementation, introduced the project teams of the partner universities, and familiarised the audience with the content of the training programme "Use of Information, Communication and Digital Technologies in the Educational Process". After that, topics 1 and 2 of Module 1 were piloted and analysed.  Research on innovations in the European educational process at the University of Foggia, Italy, presented by Professor Pierpaolo Magliocca; a schedule and thematic plan for training facilitators/managers of business hubs for March 2024 was developed.
