The Faculty of Design of KNUTD joined the largest creative event of the year – the Ukrainian Design and Innovation Week (UDIW), which will take place from April 1 to 7, 2024 in Kyiv. The event takes place for the second time and is held under the auspices of World Design Weeks, a global network that unites design weeks in more than 40 cities around the world.
For the first time, KNUTD is launching the Design Week, which will include lectures, workshops, and the exchange of innovative and creative ideas in various fields of design with partner universities and enterprises both in Ukraine and abroad. Students and teachers of the University will become participants in the events organized not only in our University, but also outside its borders, both offline and online.
The program of the Ukrainian Design and Innovation Week includes more than 70 master classes, workshops, presentations, tours, lectures, shows, and other events. Among the participants are the most famous designers of Ukraine and authoritative European specialists with a world name. They will share their experience and conduct workshops.

The main event of the Ukrainian Design and Innovation Week will be the largest Market of Modern Ukrainian Design, which will take place in the Mystetskyi Arsenal on April 6, 2024. The market will bring together leading representatives from various fields of design – industrial design, interior design, architecture, graphic design, object design, fashion design, furniture, lighting, textiles, and others. Young promising designers and artists will also present their works at the Design Market. In addition, visitors will be able to get to know design-related areas, such as floristry, galleries, potteries, bookstores, etc. It will be possible to purchase products of Ukrainian designers and craftsmen: handmade decor, jewelry, candles, pottery, author’s tableware, and many other exclusive products.
