On 29 March 2024, the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students “Dominants of Socio-Economic Development of Ukraine in New Realities” was held at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.
The Conference was opened by Doctor of Economics, Professor Liudmyla Mykhailivna Hanushchak-Yefimenko, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.
In her speech, Liudmyla Hanushchak-Yefimenko congratulated the participants, guests and organisers of the All-Ukrainian Conference on behalf of Ivan Gryshchenko, Rector of the University, Academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, and wished everyone productive work, emphasising the importance of the Conference platforms in wartime. The Vice-Rector focused on the relevance and timeliness of holding youth scientific forums of this scale, called for interesting and rich reports and discussions, wished everyone creative success and a rapid Victory over the enemy, peace on our land.
The All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students “Dominants of Socio-Economic Development of Ukraine in New Realities” was attended by more than 130 students, postgraduates and teachers of higher education institutions from many regions of Ukraine, representatives of scientific and governmental institutions, business and public organisations.
Viktoriia Marhasova, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honoured Economist of Ukraine, Vice-Rector for Research of the National University "Chernihiv Polytechnic", welcomed the participants of the Conference. In her speech, she congratulated the participants and guests on the start of the Conference and emphasised its relevance.
Ireneusz Żuchowski, Doctor of Engineering, Rector of the Academy of Applied Sciences in Lomza (Poland), delivered a welcoming speech to the Conference participants. In his speech, he congratulated the participants and guests on the start of the Conference, emphasised its importance and relevance. Mr Ireneusz noted that the International Academy of Applied Sciences in Lomza has long been cooperating with Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design in many areas, including the Erasmus+ K1 Programme – academic mobility of students and teachers, training of bachelor and master students under double degree programmes, project and research activities.
The guest of honour at the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students was Tetiana Cherpak, Deputy Head of the Department for Internal Policy and Public Relations – Head of the Public Relations and International Cooperation Division of the Department of Public Communications of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration). In her speech, Tetiana Valeriivna focused on the importance of cooperation between the KCSA and the city's higher education institutions, in particular, she stressed that such relations with Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design are systematic and productive. This includes joint events for young people, such as meetings with well-known entrepreneurs, stakeholders and employers, internships for students in various departments of the city administration, job fairs, etc. In addition, Tetiana Cherpak noted that she cooperates with the Department of Marketing and Communication Design as a stakeholder and guest practitioner.
Yuriy Buhrym, Head of Medium Business of Sens Bank, congratulated the undergraduate and postgraduate students on the start of the Conference. In his speech, he emphasised the importance of gaining professional knowledge in economics, entrepreneurship, marketing, management, finance and accounting, as well as important competencies required to start a business and wished all those present rich scientific discussions and interesting reports. It should be noted that Yu. Buhrym fruitfully cooperates with the Department of Entrepreneurship and Business as a stakeholder.
Yevhen Lopushynskyi, Acting Director of Kyivinform, congratulated the participants and guests of the Conference on the start of the work, noted that such events contribute to the development and deepening of professional knowledge and competencies of young scientists and students, and wished everyone productive cooperation, creative inspiration and scientific achievements.
In his greeting to the participants and guests of the Conference, Bohdan Khomitskyi, Deputy Director General of SE Chaika, emphasised the timeliness and relevance of the Conference platforms.
During the plenary session of the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students "Dominants of Socio-Economic Development of Ukraine in New Realities", the academic staff of educational institutions shared their experience with the student scientific community of KNUTD:
During the plenary session, the presentations of postgraduate and undergraduate students provoked lively discussions.
In general, the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students “Dominants of Socio-Economic Development of Ukraine in New Realities” was held at a high scientific, practical and organisational level, it was quite informative and useful, which was repeatedly noted in the speeches of the participants and guests of the Conference. Based on the results of its work, a collection of abstracts will be published in electronic format.
