KNUTD STAFF MEMBERS COMPLETED ANOTHER STAGE OF TRAINING UNDER THE FASHIONTEX GRANT PROGRAM

At the Faculty of Arts and Fashion, productive work continues under the European Commission's grant program "FashionTEX European Academy for Young Designers to Study Innovative Technologies in Digital Fashion Design" (abbreviated as FashionTEX) under the theme CREA-CULT-2023-COOP-3 as part of the CREA2027 program, project No. 101127950.

Thus, on June 28, 2024, the teachers of the Department of Fashion and Style of KNUTD – Professor Olha YEZHOVA, Associate Professor Alla RUBANKA, Assistant Yana MAMCHENKO – successfully completed the next stage of the training, conducted online as part of work package 3 “Network and Knowledge Exchange”. Under the guidance of the leader of the fashion design program Adele Parker from the Amsterdam Fashion Academy (Netherlands), the participants mastered the features of working in the clothing visualization program CLO3D. They learned to create models of free-cut clothing with cuts and frills from different materials, and acquired skills to change the pose of the avatar needed in their further work.

The previous online trainings held on April 26 and May 31 were devoted to the basics of working with Clo3D. Adele Parker explained in detail the basic skills of working with the program, its main capabilities and advantages. She familiarized the participants of the training with the features of virtual stitching of products; possibilities of changing colors, textures and other properties of materials; adjusting lengths and shapes and much more.

We express our gratitude to Adele Parker and the entire FashionTEX grant project team for the informative and valuable training session!
