The first generator has arrived at Kyiv National University of Technology and Design as part of the Generators4Ukraine fundraising campaign as part of the Twinning initiative from the British company Cormack Consultancy Group.

The fundraising campaign for the purchase of generators was launched at the request of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to provide Ukrainian universities with the electricity and heat necessary to support the educational process and create safe and comfortable living conditions for students during emergency and planned power outages.

We are grateful to our colleagues from Sheffield Hallam University for their significant contribution to ensuring the smooth operation of the infrastructure of Ukrainian universities. This support is extremely important, as it allows higher education institutions to fulfill their core educational mission, despite the serious challenges caused by the electricity shortage and the ongoing war in Ukraine.

The project is coordinated by Cormack Consultancy Group in partnership with the “Recovery Charitable Fund” and the charity Mosaik Education. It is important to note that every pound donated is doubled by the philanthropic organization, making any contribution even more significant.
