On April 24, 2025, Doctor of Economics, Professor Mariana Shkoda, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Business Design, and the staff of the Department of Finance and Business Consulting, including the Head of the Department, Doctor of Economics, Professor Iryna Tarasenko, and the guarantors of the educational programs - Doctor of Economics, Professor Andrii Zolkover and Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor Yuliia Rusina - took an active part in the panel discussion on private investment as a key instrument for financing priority sectors of the Ukrainian economy. The event was initiated and organized by the Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA) in partnership with the Ukrainian Institute for the Future in a mixed format, which brought together leading investment sector experts, business community representatives, and government institutions.
During the discussion, the participants discussed topical issues of attracting private capital to strategically important sectors of the Ukrainian economy, including technology, infrastructure, agriculture and energy. Particular attention was paid to the analysis of the current investment climate, existing obstacles and potential mechanisms to stimulate private investment in the context of the country's post-war recovery.
The active participation of representatives of the Faculty of Management and Business Design in this professional discussion demonstrates the strategic focus of the faculty on deepening cooperation with the business community. The analytical materials and expert opinions obtained during the event will be integrated into the educational process of the Department of Finance and Business Consulting to further improve its educational programs and strengthen its position as a leading center for training highly qualified specialists in the specialty D2 Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market.
