Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design continues to expand its international and project activities, actively participating in events aimed at strengthening involvement in the Horizon Europe Programme.

Continuing its systematic work in this area, Viktoriia Marhasova, Director of the KNUTD Office for International and Project Activities, and Nataliia Fastovets, specialist at the Office for International and Project Activities, took part in the roundtable entitled “Opportunities of the Horizon Europe Programme in 2026: Open Calls and Participation Mechanisms,” which took place in Kyiv on March 24, 2026.

The event was organized by the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine. The roundtable became an important platform for discussing current programme call opportunities, new developments in the 2026–2027 work programmes, as well as practical mechanisms for preparing project proposals.

The participants became acquainted with the specifics of the grant proposal structure, approaches to budget formation, and modern tools that can be used during proposal preparation, including the possibilities of applying artificial intelligence.

The initiatives of the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine create additional opportunities for the Ukrainian academic community to become familiar with current call opportunities, enhance project preparation, and participate in international research and innovation projects.

We express our sincere gratitude to the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine for organizing the roundtable and supporting the Ukrainian academic community in the development of project activities.
