PARTICIPATION OF A STUDENT OF THE FACULTY OF DESIGN IN THE INTERNATIONAL ERASMUS+ PROJECT "8 PATHS TO CONNECTION 2"

From March 19 to 26, 2026, a student of the Faculty of Design, Kateryna Osypenko, took part in the international Erasmus+ project "8 Paths to Connection 2" in the city Stara Zagora, Bulgaria.

The goal of the project "8 Paths to Connection 2" was to use theatrical performances to combat social isolation and strengthen intercultural dialogue among young people from Ukraine, Georgia, Spain and Bulgaria.

The project lasted a week, during which participants learned to transform social problems into artistic performances, while developing empathy, confidence and teamwork skills for positive changes in society. Kateryna Osypenko, a 2nd year student of the educational program "Fashion Design" (specialty "Design"), during this time made friends with participants from different countries, learned more about their culture and traditions. In turn, Kateryna told the project participants about Ukraine and our traditional songs, costumes and holiday traditions.

Each day of participation in the project was rich and informative: instructors helped participants improve their teamwork skills, communicate with participants from other countries, and develop creative and critical thinking. The training took place by involving participants in theatrical performances aimed at establishing trust with other participants, exercises on diction and body awareness, analysis of the components of the script, and improvisation.

The organizers of the "8 Paths to Connection 2" project created a comfortable atmosphere in which each participant could feel free, discover new hobbies, grow personally, acquire new social skills, and learn about the world!
