RESULTS OF THE 4th ALL-UKRAINIAN SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE OF YOUNG SCIENTISTS AND STUDENTS “DOMINANTS OF UKRAINE'S SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE NEW REALITY”

On March 26, 2026, the 4th All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students Dominants of Ukraine's Socio-Economic Development in the New Reality was held at the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.

The conference was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design. Co-organizers included Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport, Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University, National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute,” West Ukrainian National University, Odesa State Agrarian University, WSB Academy (Dąbrowa Górnicza, Republic of Poland), International Academy of Applied Sciences (Łomża, Republic of Poland), University of Applied Sciences of Management and Administration (Opole, Republic of Poland), and International Balkan University (Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia).

The conference was also organized with the support of the European University Alliance “Q-HELIX.”

Leading scholars and practitioners in the field of higher education, as well as representatives of research institutions from many regions of Ukraine and foreign countries, took part in the conference. The event was held in a hybrid format.

The conference was opened by Acting Rector Nataliia OSTAPENKO, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor. Natalia welcomed all participants at the start of the event and wished them good health, productive work, inspiring ideas, and significant scientific achievements.

The Acting Rector also emphasized that the conference topic is of particular relevance in the context of the full-scale invasion of Russia into our independent sovereign state, when each day presents challenges that only a few years ago seemed like theoretical scenarios from history or crisis management textbooks. Today, these scenarios have become our daily reality. The purpose of the conference is to outline the very “dominants” that will enable Ukraine not only to endure, but also to achieve a qualitative economic breakthrough.

A heartfelt welcome address to the participants and guests of the conference was delivered by the Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Liudmyla HANUSHCHAK-YEFIMENKO.

Sanja Gongeta, PhD, Associate Professor at the Lavoslav Ružička University of Applied Sciences in Vukovar, Croatia, welcomed the participants and guests on the opening of the conference. She noted that students of the university have the opportunity to study under academic mobility programs.

On behalf of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the conference participants were welcomed by the Chair of the Council, Anastasiia SIMAKHOVA, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor.

The conference participants were also welcomed on behalf of the Odesa State Agrarian University by Inna MALETSKA, Advisor to the Rector for International and Institutional Development, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor.

On behalf of the West Ukrainian National University, the participants were greeted by Olena PTASHCHENKO, Professor of the Department of Economic Cybernetics and Informatics, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor. In her speech, she emphasized the long-standing cooperation with the Faculty of Economics and Management, particularly in the area of internal academic mobility of higher education students.

The plenary session featured a presentation by Liiana MAZNYK, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Labor Economics and Management at the National University of Food Technologies, with the report titled “Architecting the Digital Employer Brand: Digital HR Marketing in Employer Brand Formation.”

Dmytro RUBAN, PhD, Head of the non-governmental organization “Urban Democracy Hub” delivered a report on the main areas of activity, as well as the challenges and problems faced by the organization in the course of its work.

Ivan SKOROKHODOV, Marketing Director of Fialan and Prizzi Sewing Machines, delivered a presentation on the development of marketing activities.

Veronika BURMINOVA, Head of the non-governmental organization “New Responsible Governance,” spoke about the importance of volunteer activity in contemporary conditions.

 

Kseniia ZAKHAROVA, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and Finance at “KROK” University of Economics and Law, delivered a presentation titled “Transformation of Unfair Competition in Digital Markets”.

Polina PUZYROVA, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Economics, delivered a presentation titled “Promoting European Skills and Approaches to the Sustainable Development of Bioeconomy in the Context of Contemporary Challenges in Ukraine”.

 

Within the framework of the conference, five thematic platforms were organized:

Platform 1. Digital transformation of marketing in the context of globalization and the development of the information society.

Platform 2. Public and corporate governance in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.

Platform 3. Problems and prospects for the development of Ukraine's financial and credit system in the context of increased financial security requirements.

Platform 4. International economic integration in the context of global transformations: bioeconomic vectors of sustainable development.

Platform 5. Law and politics in the context of the transformation of modern society.

The conference platforms featured presentations by PAVLO SHEVCHUK on “Key Aspects of Developing Professional Competencies of Higher Education Students in the Field of Digital Marketing”; LIUDMYLA MELNYK on “Economic Growth with Environmental Sustainability”; MAKSYM HALSTIAN on “Transformation of Consumer Behavior During the War: Building an Emotional Brand-Consumer Connection”; KSENIIA SAMOILENKO on “The Impact of E-Commerce Channels on the Competitiveness of B2B Enterprises”; MAKSYM BELICHENKO on “Marketing Strategies for Business Adaptation to Crisis Conditions: Transformation of Business Models During the COVID-19 Pandemic and Martial Law”; ANNA UKHAN on “Digital Branding of Ukrainian Companies in Global Markets: Challenges and Cases”; MARHARYTA LUTSENKO on “Leadership in Crisis Conditions: New Managerial Competencies”; DIANA KULYK on “Financial Literacy as a Factor of Financial Security in Ukraine: Current Challenges and Prospects”; ANNA VANYK on “Problems and Prospects of the Insurance Market Development in Ukraine”; STANISLAV ULANOVSKYI on “RWA Tokenization as a Tool for Increasing the Liquidity of Real Estate Transactions”; OLEH KOROTYCH on “Planning Acts in the Mechanism of Legal Regulation of Territorial Community Development in Ukraine”.
