On April 20, 2026, the Week of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies began at KNUTD. This week unites students, teachers, employees and friends of the faculty around science, innovation and creativity. A number of events are planned during the week: the IX International Scientific and Practical Conference “Mechatronic Systems, Innovation and Engineering”, a competition in engineering 3D modeling, quests and master classes for students.
The program was opened by the already traditional quest for junior students “Find Your Laboratory”. University classrooms and laboratories on this day turned into a space of adventures and tests.
Students from the departments of computer engineering and electromechanics, information and computer technologies, applied physics and higher mathematics, mechanical engineering joined the participation. At each location, the teams performed tasks prepared by teachers, including Svitlana Demishonkova, Oleksandr Gladchuk, Oleksandr Fedorenko and Volodymyr Kuzmenko.

Participants formed teams, solved technical puzzles, passed tests and demonstrated knowledge of programming, electronics and mechanics. The quest required not only theoretical training, but also creative thinking, teamwork and quick decision-making.
The organizers emphasize: the main goal of the event is not only to interest students in learning, but also to create a space for live interaction and exchange of experience.
“This quest is a great way to show how exciting studying at KNUTD can be,” said the moderator of the event, Yevheniya Romanyuk. “We want students to feel like they are part of a community that supports and inspires.”
Following the quest, the winners were congratulated by the dean of the faculty, Ihor Panasyuk, who presented the teams with certificates and awards.

The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology Week will continue, offering everyone who joins new opportunities for development, communication, and implementation of ideas.
