On April 21, 2026, the Ukrainian Association of Marketing (UAM) held a regular meeting of the Club of Teachers-Members of UAM, which brought together scientists and teachers from different regions of Ukraine. The event was attended by scientific and pedagogical employees of the Department of Marketing: Head of the Department, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Ievseitseva O.S.; Ph.D., Prof. Bebko S.V.; Ph.D., Prof. Orel A.M.; Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Kvita G.M.; Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Shikovets K.O.; Senior Lecturer Gorodetsky Yu.D.; Asst. Shevchuk P.D.; Asst. Svystun A.O.; Asst. Nycheglod D.Yu. The participants joined the professional discussion of issues of development of scientific publications in the field of marketing and exchange of practical experience. The event became an important platform for meeting new members of the academic community and presenting current initiatives of the UAM.
Invited experts from the UK shared their experience: Dr. Natalia Pysarenko, Director of the master’s Program "Marketing and Business Analytics" at the University of Exeter, and Dr. Eva Kipnis, Professor at the University of Bradford. During the webinar, the key topic was "Publication in top global marketing journals. How to plan the path. Conclusions from own experience".




The speakers' speeches were based on the practice of working with international scientific journals and academic projects, which allowed the participants to receive practical recommendations for their own research.
The focus of the discussion was on key aspects of academic publishing activities:





Separately, the speakers emphasized that publications in top journals are not only a scientific result, but also a strategic tool for influence in the international academic environment. The importance of the concept of share of voice - the opportunity to be heard in the global scientific community, as well as strengthening the role of Ukraine in world science was emphasized.
During the meeting, the participants received a structured idea of the system of international scientific publications: what are top journals and their requirements, types of scientific articles, the review process, stages of preparing an article for publication, requirements for research ethics and features of forming the content of scientific work. Realistic terms were separately discussed - from idea to publication, as well as approaches to long-term planning of research activities. An important emphasis was placed on the concept of impact - the impact of scientific research on education, business, public policy and regional development. It is the ability to create such an impact that determines the value of a modern scientist.
The event was held in the format of a professional academic dialogue, facilitated the exchange of experience between teachers of different educational institutions and once again confirmed the importance of regular professional communication in the academic environment.
The meeting of the UAM Teachers' Club became another step towards developing the culture of scientific publications in Ukraine and strengthening the international presence of Ukrainian marketers.
