On April 18, 2026, Galina Kokorina, art historian, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor of the Department of Art and Costume Design of the Kyiv National University of Technology, held an open lecture at the Museum of the Sixties (a branch of the Kyiv City Museum) dedicated to the activities of Ukrainian Model Houses of the 20th century. The event was organized as part of the “FASHION in the 60s” project, in which the Faculty of Design of the Kyiv National University of Technology is a participant.
Galina Vasylivna told museum visitors and those present at the meeting about the activities of Model Houses of Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine, about how Ukrainian fashion and the fashion industry were formed in the 20th century.

The organizer of the meeting is Karina Gaeva, designer, art curator.

Participants of the event and invited guests watched the documentary "TSUM 80", which highlights the formation of Ukrainian fashion in the 20th century.

Olena Lodzynska, head of the Museum of the Sixties, conducted an interesting tour of the museum.

KNUTD was presented at the event by Kalyna Pashkevych, Dean of the Faculty of Design, Natalia Chuprina, Head of the Department of Art and Costume Design, Liliya Ovechkina, Head of the Publishing Department of Educational and Scientific Materials, Natalia Lesiuta, Director of the Student Center for Fashion and Creativity, as well as students of the «Clothing Design» Program.
