On April 27, the world celebrates International Design Day ­– a holiday that unites the professional community of designers around the world, emphasizing the important role of design as a tool for change, innovation, and development of modern society.

Design is a powerful tool for shaping the environments in which we live, work and learn. It combines aesthetics and functionality, contributing to the creation of comfortable, accessible and sustainable solutions in various fields – from graphics and digital products to architecture, the fashion industry and the tangible environment.

The Faculty of Design of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design has been a center for training highly qualified specialists in the field of fashion, graphic, multimedia design, as well as interior and furniture design for many years. Thanks to the combination of powerful scientific potential, modern educational approaches, active creative activity of our teachers and the involvement of practicing specialists, we educate a generation that worthily represents Ukraine at the regional and international levels. Students and graduates of the university demonstrate a high level of professional training, realizing themselves in various areas of design and creative industries.
