On April 30, 2026, the VII International Scientific and Practical Online Conference “Imperatives of Economic Growth in the Context of Implementing the Global Sustainable Development Goals” was held at the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.
The conference was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the State National University “Academy of Financial Management,” the International Academy of Applied Sciences (Lomza, Republic of Poland), the International Balkan University (Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia), the Academy of Applied Sciences at the University of Management and Administration in Opole (Republic of Poland), the Academy of Applied Sciences at the University of Technology and Information in Poznań (Republic of Poland), University of Foggia (Italy), Riga Northern University (Republic of Latvia), European Institute of Innovative Development (Czech Republic),
Odessa State Agrarian University, National Transport University, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Western Ukrainian National University, State University of Trade and Economics, KROK University of Economics and Law, Private Higher Educational Institution “Institute of Ecology, Economics, and Law,” State Non-Profit Enterprise “Kyiv Aviation Institute,” and Dmytro Motorny Tavria State Agrotechnological University.
It is worth noting that 3 of the 9 conference platforms were dedicated to the implementation of grant projects, namely: EIT HEI Initiative 2024; ERASMUS+ “PESAB”; and the ERASMUS+ SEAL project at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design in partnership with leading European universities.
Tetiana VLASІUK, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, moderated the conference.

The conference was opened by Talіat BIELIALOV, Acting Rector of KNUTD, Doctor of Science in Economics, Professor, who wished the participants and guests productive work, engaging discussions, and creative inspiration.

Vice Rector Oleksandra OLSHANSKA, Doctor of Science in Economics, Professor, addressed the guests and conference participants with a welcoming speech, in which she highlighted the strategic challenges arising from global transformations, economic turbulence, and the need to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals—the very themes of this online conference, which brought together leading scholars, experts, young researchers, and business representatives from Ukraine and abroad.

Andreas ZECHNER, Professor of Marketing at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, School of Business and Management (Steyr, Austria) welcomed the conference participants and emphasized that this conference serves as a powerful platform for key drivers of national and global economic development, particularly in the context of digital transformation, the greening of business processes, the development of innovation clusters, financial stability, and the implementation of ESG approaches.

In addition, the conference participants were greeted by Tetiana YEFIMENKO, President of the State National University “Academy of Financial Management,” Honored Economist of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, and Professor, who spoke about innovative approaches to ensuring the sustainability of Ukraine’s economic space.

Paulina KOLISNICHENKO, Vice Rector for International Cooperation at the Academy of Applied Sciences at the University of Technology and Design in Poznań (Republic of Poland), welcomed the participants and guests and emphasized the importance of such an event for strengthening the international image, recognition, and support of Ukrainian higher education and Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design in particular.

Platform 6. Policy and legal mechanisms for ensuring economic growth in the context of sustainable development.
Platform 7. Universities in the context of sustainable entrepreneurship and digital transformation (EIT HEI Initiative 2024).
Platform 8. Promoting European skills and approaches to a sustainable bioeconomy in the context of contemporary challenges in Ukraine (ERASMUS+ “PESAB”).
Platform 9. Developing 21st-century skills for adaptive leadership and a sustainable society (ERASMUS+ SEAL project).
Polina PUZYRОVA, Head of the Department of Economics, Doctor of Science in Economics, Professor, and Project Leader of “Promoting European Skills and Approaches to a Sustainable Bioeconomy in the Context of Contemporary Challenges in Ukraine,” presented the results of the ERASMUS+ PESAB project team’s work.

Zoryna SHATSKA, Doctor of Science in Economics, Professor of the Department of Economics, spoke about smart specialization as a conceptual foundation for the transformation of education in the digital economy.

Pavlo SHEVCHUK, an assistant professor in the Department of Marketing, presented a paper titled “From Algorithmic Ranking to Meaning Synthesis in the Age of AI Search: GEO and Personalization 2.0 as the Future of Search Marketing and SEO.”

Yuriy HORODETSKYI, senior lecturer in the Department of Marketing, spoke about marketing-driven business development under martial law and how approaches and tools are evolving.

Olena SEREDA, PhD in Economics and Associate Professor in the Department of Finance, focused on the ESG transformation of Ukraine’s financial system.

Also participating in the platform’s work were graduate students majoring in C1 Economics and International Economic Relations: Daryna ROHALCHUK (Group BEMB-22) with a presentation titled “Digital Transformation of Ukraine’s Economy” and Volodymyr SHYSHKO with a presentation titled “The Digital Economy: Global Experience and Its Prospects for Integrated Markets” (Group BSEP-23).

Among the candidates for a third-level (academic) degree, Oleg KHUKHRA delivered a remote presentation on the topic “Digital Innovations as Drivers of Effective Management of Integrated Business Structures.”

The 7th International Scientific and Practical Online Conference “Imperatives of Economic Growth in the Context of Achieving the Global Sustainable Development Goals” was held at a high scientific, practical, and organizational level. A collection of abstracts will be published in electronic format based on the conference proceedings.
