On April 30, 2026, the opening of the exhibition “Sunflower – Solar Revival” took place in the art gallery of the Pereyaslav Center for Culture and Arts (Pereyaslav), in which teachers and students of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD took part. The exhibition was organized by Alla Gorbunova, president of the International Charitable Foundation “Sunflower”.
The project brought together the works of Pereyaslavl artists, craftsmen, students and pupils of the city, and the works of teachers of the Faculty of Design Alla Osadcha, Oksana Maznichenko, Oleksandr Vasyliev, as well as students of the bachelor's and master's degree programs "Graphic Design", "Multimedia Design" and "Design (by type)".
On behalf of the acting rector of KNUTD Taliat Bielialov and the KNUTD staff, Olena Gerasymenko, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Design, greeted the participants of the exhibition. Serhiy Komisarov - Honored Journalist of Ukraine, co-founder of the International Art Association "Return Alive!", Valery Franchuk, People's Artist of Ukraine, Liudmyla Larikova, People's Artist of Ukraine, Tamara Markelova, editor-in-chief of the All-Ukrainian magazine "Zhinka", Antonina Linnyk, editor-in-chief of the publication "Kyiv Diplomatic" and representatives of the Pereyaslav community - Viacheslav Saulko, head of the Pereyaslav city territorial community, Iryna Kuzmytska, art historian, director of the Pereyaslav art school named after Petro Kholodny, Valentyn Shutkevych, head of the culture and tourism department of the Pereyaslav city council, etc.
The organizer of the exhibition, Alla Gorbunova, presented certificates of appreciation and diplomas to all participants of the exhibition, including teachers and students of KNUTD, separately noting the dean of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD, Kalyna Pashkevych, for her support of the festival and significant contribution to the development of culture and art.
