STUDENTS AND TEACHERS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF GRAPHIC DESIGN VISITED THE INTERNATIONAL FORUM OF FOOD INDUSTRY AND PACKAGING (IFFIP)

From April 22 to 24, 2026, students of the educational program "Graphic Design" of the first (bachelor's) level and applicants of the EP "Design (by type)" of the second (master's) level of higher education, together with teachers of the Department of Graphic Design, visited the International Forum of Food Industry and Packaging (IFFIP), which is traditionally held at the International Exhibition Center.

Attending the forum was a great opportunity for aspiring designers to get acquainted with current technologies for designing and manufacturing various types of packaging, trends in printing packaging, labels and markings, and to study the features of promotional products in the food industry, a wide range of packaging materials and their design features.

During the exhibition, students had the opportunity to see new technologies, innovative solutions in the field of ecological design of transport packaging and design approaches to the design of packaging structures in the widest range of food industry products. Applicants had the opportunity to talk with representatives of various companies (EUROJET LLC, INTRAMOTION Ukraine LLC, Manu Packaging, PrintPlus, Ruver Group, etc.), get acquainted with industrial machines for printing labels and markings and other production equipment for the manufacture of packaging products in particular.

In live communication with manufacturers, designers, printers and developers, students had the opportunity to get to know market trends, the subtleties of a designer's work, the nuances of modern technologies and the requirements of modern consumers.

As part of the forum, teachers and students of the Department of Graphic Design got to know the activities of the "Network of Printing Artists", the "Club of Packers", the Information and Analytical Center "Packaging" and other professional unions and associations.

During the forum, the participants of the "Packaging of the Future" competition were awarded, in which Babarykina Tetyana, a 4th-year student of the Department of Graphic Design (scientific supervisor Nataliia Skliarenko, Doctor of Art History, Professor) won in the "Label" nomination with the project "Label for TSVIT Natural Lemonade".

The knowledge and impressions gained during the event will be useful to students during the educational process, performing practical tasks and qualifying work, and will also become inspiration for future creative pursuits in the field of graphic design and packaging products.
