On April 27, 2026, undergraduate students (bachelor’s level) of the “Psychology” educational program at the Department of Professional Education in Technology and Design, under the guidance of Ph.D. in Psychology, Associate Professor Alla Kolodyazhna, participated in an educational and professional event held at the Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.
The purpose of the event was to familiarize students with the main areas of research at the Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, as well as the specifics of a psychologist’s professional activities in the modern scientific and applied environment.
As part of the program, the Institute’s director, Mykola Slyusarevsky, Ph.D. in Psychology and Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, delivered a welcoming and informational address in which he outlined the institution’s main areas of activity, its scientific potential, and current research projects. Iryna Hubeladze, Acting Deputy Director for Research, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Psychology, and Senior Researcher, also addressed the participants, highlighting the current challenges facing psychological science and the opportunities for engaging young people in research activities. This allowed students to gain a comprehensive understanding of how a leading scientific institution operates and the prospects for professional development in the field of psychology.
Particular interest was generated by a master class led by Oksana Sknar on the topic “How to Find Your Inner Strength?”, during which participants were introduced to practical approaches to restoring psychological resilience, self-regulation, and maintaining emotional stability. The practical format of the event facilitated active student engagement and the development of skills essential for future professional practice.
Holding such an event became an important element of practice-oriented training for students, contributing to the deepening of their professional knowledge, broadening their understanding of modern psychological science, and increasing their motivation for further professional development.
