On May 5, 2026, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design hosted the 2026 Job Fair — a large-scale career event that brought together students, graduates, employers, partners, business representatives, and the university community.

The job fair was held in a hybrid format, combining booth displays with specialized career platforms for specific fields of study. The event was moderated by Oleksandra Olshanska, Vice Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Activities. Talat Belyalov, Acting Rector of KNUTD, welcomed the participants.

At the 2026 Job Fair, students had the opportunity to speak with representatives from more than 45 companies and organizations. Company representatives presented current job openings, internship opportunities, work experience programs, professional training, and opportunities for further career development.



Students from the various departments met with employers through four professional platforms. The Faculty of Arts and Fashion presented the “Textile Space” platform; the Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies and the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies presented “Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies”; the Faculty of Economics and Management presented “Economics and Management”; “Creative & Design Global Career Pathways” was presented by the Faculty of Design in collaboration with the Faculty of Culture and Creative Industries.


The “Textile Space” platform served as a forum for discussing employment opportunities in the textile industry, apparel manufacturing, promotional textiles, and modern production technologies. The following individuals participated in the platform's activities: Mykhailo Kucherenko, Director of SURIKAT YU LLC; Natalia Aminova, Head of Human Resources at “Home Textiles” LLC; Anton Yevenko, sole proprietor of Yevenko A.Y.; Ruslan Khlistov, Director of “EKVIP GROUP” LLC; Anastasia KELYUKH, HR Manager at “Advertising Textiles” LLC; and Oleksandr TOLSTOV, Director of “Ideal Clothing House” LLC.
The speakers discussed the current state of the industry, the need for young professionals, requirements for professional skills, and career growth prospects in the textile sector.

The “Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies” platform focused on career opportunities in the field of cosmetic formulations and chemical products.
Maria UDOVENKO led a workshop titled “Uniks Expert Lab: Secrets of Creating Cosmetic Formulations.”
Serhii TITARENKO presented a training session titled “Employment Opportunities in the Production and Sale of Chemical Products.”
Maryna SHEPTYTSKA spoke about the importance of biological education.
The platform gave students the opportunity to see how theoretical knowledge can be transformed into real professional competencies and career opportunities.



The “Economics and Management” platform brought together representatives from the business community, the banking sector, the public sector, HR, and management. Speakers included: Ivan SKOROCHODOV, Marketing Director at Fialan / Prizzi Sewing Machines; Natalia BUHAS, Head of the Legal Support Department at the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kyiv Region; Olesya VYKHODZ, Head of the Recruitment Department at Khimlaborreactive LLC; Olga ALEKSEEVA – Director of the Human Resources Department at PJSC “AKORD BANK”; Veronika BURNIKOVA – Chair of the NGO “New Responsible Management”; Kateryna MOGILA – Manager of the Pechersk Branch of FUIB; Serhiy Kopa – Director of Kopa S.O. Sole Proprietorship; Oleksandra Shemyakova – Lead HR Specialist at UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas; Yevheniia Lepekha – Head of the Employer Branding Development Sector at PUMB.
Through the platform, students learned about the requirements for professionals in the fields of economics, management, finance, marketing, HR, and the public sector.

Employers from the fields of design, culture, museum studies, translation, media, and the creative industries have joined the “Creative & Design Global Career Pathways” platform: Svitlana OSTAPYK — a designer and owner of the interior and furniture design studio “TSVIT” — spoke about ways to find work in the design field, the professional qualifications required of a modern designer, and the importance of building a portfolio while still in school.
Bogdan KASS — designer, entrepreneur, founder of the KASS brand, and owner of the Factory KASS sewing workshop — shared his own path to professional success and, as a graduate of KNUTD, advised students to make the most of their university years for personal development.
Daryna YAKYMENKO — graphic designer in the merchandising department of the furniture company VIYAR — provided practical advice on creating a resume, building a portfolio, and cultivating the image of a successful designer.
Olga FRASINYUK, Deputy Director General for Research at the National Museum of Decorative Arts of Ukraine, spoke about current trends in museum work and employment prospects in the cultural sector.
OLGA VERNYGORENKO — lead host of live broadcasts for the “Radio Culture” division of the National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine, provided useful advice to future cultural studies students.
Lyudmila VASYLCHENKO and Iryna SLIPETS, representatives of the Brovary Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity, spoke about career opportunities in the fields of education and social work.
Veronika SYNCHUK, HR Lead at the game development company RetroStyleGame, presented the company’s areas of focus and invited KNUTD students to participate in internships and pursue employment opportunities.



The event served as an important platform for dialogue between students and employers, promoted career guidance for young people, expanded partnerships, and created new career opportunities for the following majors: B2 “Design,” D2 “Finance, Banking, Insurance, and the Stock Market,” D5 “Marketing,” B4 “Fine Arts and Restoration,” B12 “Cultural Studies and Museology,” I8 “Pharmacy,” J2 “Hospitality, Restaurant Management, and Catering,” J3 “Tourism and Recreation,” A7 “Physical Education and Sports,” B11 “Philology,” C1 “Economics and International Economic Relations,” C2 “Political Science,” D8 “Law,” E6 “Applied Physics and Nanomaterials,” F7 “Computer Engineering,” G3 “Electrical Engineering,” G1 “Chemical Technology and Engineering,” G2 “Environmental Protection Technologies.”
