In light of the current challenges related to security, European integration, and the reconstruction of Ukraine, international platforms for strategic dialogue have become increasingly important. In this context, the international forum Carpathian Sea of Freedom was held in the cities of Truskavets and Skhidnytsia from 27 to 30 April 2026. The large-scale event brought together Ukrainian and European communities to discuss key areas of development and cooperation.

Daria Kaptiurova, a postgraduate student of the Department of Fashion Technology, contributed to the organizational support of the forum. Her involvement in the preparation and implementation of the event demonstrated a high level of professional competence, responsibility, and active civic engagement. Such experience serves as a notable example of the involvement of young researchers in processes of national and societal significance.

The forum brought together representatives of state authorities, local self-government bodies, international organizations, expert communities, businesses, and academic institutions from Ukraine and European countries. The participants focused on pressing issues related to national security, democratic development, European integration, energy independence, innovation, Ukraine’s post-war recovery, and the strengthening of its defense capabilities.

The event featured panel discussions, thematic sessions, and presentations dedicated to addressing contemporary challenges and developing practical solutions. The forum served not only as a platform for the exchange of experience, but also as a space for consolidating efforts aimed at the sustainable development of Ukraine.

The involvement of young people in organizing international events of this scale is of particular importance. The participation of Daria Kaptiurova highlights the role of the university community as an environment for shaping modern professionals capable of responding effectively to global transformations and достойно representing Ukraine in the international arena.

The Carpathian Sea of Freedom forum once again confirmed Ukraine’s consistent progress toward European integration and demonstrated the significant role of the younger generation as a driving force behind positive transformation and the sustainable development of the state.
