From May 4 to 10, 2026, the Faculty of Design of KNUTD once again joined the events of the Ukrainian Design and Innovation Week (UDIW). The KNUTD team held the «Design Week», when lectures, master classes on various topics in the field of design were organaised, which involved KNUTD students and UDIW 2026 participants.
On May 9 and 10, 2026, the Faculty of Design presented the creative achievements of teachers and students at the exhibition and design market «DESIGN HALL 2026» in the Mystetsky Arsenal (Kyiv). This time, «DESIGN HALL» brought together more than 130 participants who presented modern furniture, interior solutions, lighting, decor, works of art, etc.
On May 9, 2025, the grand opening of the KNUTD exhibition stand took place. The event was opened by the acting rector of KNUTD Taliat Bielialov, Professor, Doctor of Science in Economics. In his speech, Taliat Enverovych spoke about the achievements of KNUTD as the best design school in Ukraine, which confidently occupies high places in world rankings. “Participation in events of this scale allows our university to demonstrate the high level of design education at KNUTD, to popularize our achievements in the Ukrainian and world educational and creative spaces. The participation of KNUTD students in events such as “DESIGN HALL” allows them to gain experience in professional communication, get acquainted with current trends in design, feel the influence of the latest trends, communicate with industry specialists and potential partners,” said the acting rector of KNUTD. He congratulated those present on the opening of the exhibition, wished them fruitful career guidance work at the event, and emphasized that the recruitment of students in 2026 is a top priority.
The opening of the exhibition stand of KNUTD was attended by Oleksandra Olshanska, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Activities (Educational Activities) of KNUTD; Liudmyla Hanushchak-Yefimenko, Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Activities of KNUTD; Volodymyr Statsenko, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Activities of KNUTD; deans of faculties, heads of structural divisions of KNUTD – Olena Hryhorevska, Tetyana Bukoros, Viktoriia Margasova, Margarita Aftandiliants, Nataliia Lesiuta, Tetyana Sinkevych, teachers and students of the Faculty of Design, as well as partners of the university.
Dean of the Faculty of Design Kalyna Pashkevych, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor thanked the staff of the Faculty of Design for their coordinated work and for their active participation in the events of the Ukrainian Design and Innovation Week.
Serhiy Komisarov, Honored Journalist of Ukraine, Editor-in-Chief of the International News Agency UKRPRES-INFO, noted the high level of works presented at the exhibition by both teachers and students of KNUTD.
During May 9 and 10, communication with potential applicants took place at the KNUTD exhibition site, familiarization with the university's educational programs, study conditions and prospects for students, rules for admission to educational programs of the Faculty of Design and the University, communication with partners, representatives of firms and companies regarding practical training of students and their employment.
The stand of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD presented creative works, design projects, interior solutions, clothing models, graphic and photographic works created by students.
