At the initiative of the Department of Finance of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, a round table entitled “Digital Technologies in Finance, Economics and Management: Development, Opportunities and Areas of Application” was held in two stages.
The first stage took place on May 5, 2026, and brought together higher education students, academic staff, and invited experts to discuss issues related to the digital transformation of finance, economics, and management. Participants attended presentations delivered by stakeholders, presented their own research during the presentation competition, and joined professional discussions. The second stage of the competition was held on May 14, 2026, within the framework of the KNUTD Science Week, during which the results of the round table were summarized and the winners of the presentation competition were awarded.


The moderator of the round table was I.O. Tarasenko, Head of the Department of Finance, Doctor of Economics, Professor, who welcomed the participants, emphasized the relevance of digital technologies in modern conditions, and introduced the competition requirements.

The invited experts of the round table included Yevhenii Tsymbalov, Head of the Second Kyiv Regional Office of UKRSIBBANK JSC; Oleksandra Shemiakova, Leading Specialist of the HR Group at UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group; Yevheniia Lepekha, Head of the Employer Brand Development Sector at PUMB JSC; and Yana Ivanova, Recruiter at PUMB JSC. The experts shared practical experience and familiarized participants with current trends in the banking sector, digitalization of financial services, and new approaches to banking operations in the digital economy.
Higher education students presented current research devoted to the digital transformation of economics, finance, and business. Participants demonstrated a high level of preparation, creativity, and interest in contemporary trends in the development of the digital economy.

Stanislav Ulanovskyi presented a report entitled “Digital Platforms and Ecosystems in the Economy”, in which he analyzed the role of digital platforms in shaping modern business models and the development of the digital economy.

Daniil Nevgadovskyi and Kseniia Tveritinova presented a joint report “The Use of Neuromarketing and Big Data in Forecasting Consumer Decisions”, devoted to the application of modern analytical tools in marketing technologies.


Diana Kulyk, in her presentation “Investments of the Future: The Role of Tokenization in the Digital Economy”, revealed the prospects for the use of digital assets and tokenization in the financial sphere.

Nadiia Mokhort presented the research “The Impact of Digitalization on Tax Consulting”, focusing on the transformation of tax services and the changing role of tax consultants under the influence of digital technologies.

In the presentation “The Cluster Approach as a Tool for Improving the Organizational Structure of an Enterprise in the Conditions of Digitalization”, Ivan Korsunenko explored opportunities for increasing enterprise management efficiency through clustering and digitalization.

Anna Ukhan presented the report “Digital Branding of Ukrainian Companies in Global Markets: Challenges and Cases”, analyzing modern tools for promoting Ukrainian brands in the international digital environment.

In the research “Big Data and Analytics in Finance: Impact on Financial Institutions and the Banking Sector”, Dmytro Irnazorov examined the role of big data in transforming financial services and banking activities.

Daryna Sliusar presented the report “Artificial Intelligence in Finance: How Technologies Are Changing Money, Banks, and Our Work”, devoted to the influence of AI on the development of the financial sector and business process transformation.



The presented works attracted considerable interest and active discussion among participants and guests of the event. A special part of the competition was the audience voting, according to the results of which students received prizes from the organizers of the round table and stakeholders.
The winners of the audience voting were Daniil Nevgadovskyi and Kseniia Tveritinova, students majoring in Marketing, with their presentation on the use of neuromarketing and Big Data in forecasting consumer decisions.



Second place was awarded to Daryna Sliusar, a student majoring in Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market, who presented research on the use of artificial intelligence in finance.


Third place was awarded to Diana Kulyk, a student majoring in Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market, with a presentation on the role of tokenization in the digital economy.



Stanislav Ulanovskyi, Nadiia Mokhort, Ivan Korsunenko, Anna Ukhan, and Dmytro Irnazorov were also awarded prizes and certificates of distinction.





This format of the event became an excellent platform for supporting creative ideas, developing scientific initiatives, and promoting student research activities.
