PARTICIPATION OF KNUTD IN THE 17TH INTERNATIONAL SPECIALIZED EXHIBITION PLAST EXPO UA 2026

From May 26 to 28, 2026, the 17th International Specialized Exhibition PLAST EXPO UA 2026 was held at the International Exhibition Centre in Kyiv.

The Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD) once again showcased its achievements. During the three-day exhibition, Professors of the Department of Chemical Technologies and Resource Saving, Bohdan Savchenko and Nadiia Sova, together with Senior Lecturer Oleksandr Slieptsov, presented the latest scientific developments of the department. These included samples of composite materials suitable for additive manufacturing, advanced polymer materials, and technical-purpose polymer composites.

The specialized exhibition PLAST EXPO UA provides companies with an opportunity to demonstrate their developments in the field of plastics and rubber processing, ranging from raw material production and the creation of innovative domestic equipment to the automation of technological processes. For the University's students, postgraduate students, and academic staff, the exhibition offers an excellent opportunity to become acquainted with the latest achievements in science, engineering, and technology that are essential for the innovative development of Ukraine’s economy, as well as to explore the wide variety of products, brands, and technologies available on the market.

Students and PhD students of the Chemical Technologies and Engineering program actively participated in the exhibition together with the Head of the Department of Chemical Technologies and Resource Saving, Viktoriia Plavan, and faculty members Oksana Butenko and Olena Kriukova. Students and academic staff of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies, led by the Dean of the Faculty, Ihor Panasiuk, also joined the event.

Visiting the exhibition also provided a valuable opportunity to communicate with our stakeholders, including PoliGreen Plant (Fastiv) and Diagnostic Instruments Company (Kyiv), and to discuss current industry trends and prospects for future cooperation.

See you next year!
