The International Industrial Forum is the largest industrial exhibition in Ukraine and one of the most significant industry events in Eastern Europe. Each year, the forum brings together leading equipment manufacturers, suppliers of modern technological solutions, representatives of industrial enterprises, research institutions, and higher education institutions.
The purpose of KNUTD representatives’ participation was to become acquainted with current trends in industrial production development, modern technologies and engineering solutions, as well as to expand cooperation with enterprises and organizations that are potential employers and partners of the University in the fields of educational, scientific, and innovation activities.

During the forum, faculty representatives held a series of meetings with company executives, technical specialists, and representatives of the industrial sector. Special attention was paid to improving the practical training of students, developing dual education, organizing industrial internships and placements, updating educational programs in accordance with the current needs of industry, as well as expanding areas of scientific and technical cooperation.

An important outcome of participation in the forum was the establishment of cooperation between the Department of Mechanical Engineering of KNUTD and TM Kalafat, one of the leading suppliers of modern metalworking equipment in Ukraine. The company is the exclusive representative of a number of well-known global manufacturers of machine-building and technological equipment, including Dener Makina, Eurostamp SRL, Ostas Makina, Kesmak, and others.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the training of specialists in the mechanical engineering industry, modernization of the educational process, organization of industrial practice and internships for students, holding joint scientific and technical events, and implementing innovative projects. The reached agreements will contribute to strengthening the practical component of engineering education, expanding opportunities for students’ professional development, and enhancing cooperation between the University and leading representatives of the industrial sector.

Participation in such large-scale industry events confirms KNUTD’s commitment to the development of modern engineering education, integration into the professional environment, and ensuring high-quality training of specialists in line with the needs of contemporary industry.
