Postgraduate students of the Faculty of Design of the KNUTD conduct scientific research on current design trends and share their knowledge with students.

On April 7, 2026, Olegoslav Serbin, a 3rd year postgraduate student of the Faculty of Design of the KNUTD (scientific supervisor - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Pashkevych K.L.), a designer, fashion designer with 9 years of work experience in his specialty in famous fashion brands, gave a lecture to undergraduate students studying the elective discipline "Current Fashion Trends". The lecture was devoted to the methods of creative modeling in the collections of modern Ukrainian designers. It was valuable that the lecturer popularizes the work of domestic designers, many of whom are graduates of the KNUTD.

On April 28, 2026, Nadiya Lyuklyan, a postgraduate student of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD (scientific supervisor - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. Pashkevych K.L.), who studies at the ONP Design, gave a lecture to students on the topic: "Smart technologies in clothing design". KNUTD undergraduate students received the most up-to-date knowledge and information in the field of design and production of smart clothing. The lecture was held in an interesting form with a demonstration of video examples of modern developments in this area.

On May 7, 2026, a lecture by Anastasiia Yukhymchuk, a 3rd year graduate student of the Department of Art and Costume Design (supervisor - Olena Gerasimenko, Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor) was held for university students on the topic: "Social Contexts in the Collections of Contemporary Designers". Ms. Anastasia introduced students to current trends in contemporary fashion and the work of Ukrainian designers. Her dissertation considered various contexts - gender equality, the theme of war, inclusivity, etc. - which are actively used by designers in their work.

All lectures were conducted by graduate students at a high level, students were interested and asked questions, learned new information. We are proud that the Faculty of Design has a cohort of young scientists, future teachers who conduct relevant scientific research, work devotedly and shape modern education!
