From June 9 to 11, 2026, the final scientific and practical conference of the All‑Ukrainian Student Research Competition in the field of “Electrical Engineering” was held at the National University «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic». The competition was organised to create favourable conditions for the development of the intellectual potential of talented youth, support the scientific and creative work of higher education students, stimulate their interest in research activities, and foster their mastery of innovative technologies.

This year, 165 scientific papers were submitted to the competition. Following the review process, 57 outstanding works were selected from 23 leading higher education institutions across the Volyn, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Khmelnytskyi regions of Ukraine.

Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design was represented by Dmytro TSYBULENKO, a student in the speciality G3 – Electrical Engineering (group BEM‑24, educational program «Electromechanics»). He presented his research project “Development of a Mathematical Model of the Energy Supply System for a Family House Using Renewable Energy Sources”, carried out under the supervision of the Professor of Computer Engineering and Electromechanics Department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. Oleksandr SHAVOLKIN. Dmytro TSYBULENKO’S scientific work was highly praised by the competition jury and awarded the honourable 2nd place.
