As part of the curatorial work of the 2025/2026 academic year, students of the first (bachelor's) level of education of the educational program "Fashion Design" (groups BDo1-25, BDo2-25, BDo3-25) participated in educational field meetings aimed at familiarizing themselves with the modern creative and professional environment in the fashion industry. The curators of the first-year clothing designers are Associate Professor Maryna Yatsenko and Assistant Professor Nadiia Lіuklіan - teachers of the Department of Art and Fashion Design.
Students of the first (bachelor's) level of education program "Fashion Design" accompanied by curators Yatsenko M.V. and Lіuklіan N.R. took an active part in such university events as the Job Fair and Career Day at the Faculty of Design, Ukrainian Design Week, and also with sincere interest visited the House of the brand of men's classic bespoke clothing "INDPOSHIV", the sewing atelier and showroom of the brand "ELESEL", the professional costume and props studio "UGA".
Among other events, students visited the creative space of modern fashion locations, where they got acquainted with the peculiarities of organizing the work of designers, stylists and costume designers, and also saw the process of creating sewing products, the peculiarities of selecting materials and accessories, interesting images and selecting costumes for photo and video shootings. For first-year students, such meetings became an important opportunity to get to know their future profession better, understand the specifics of working in the creative industry, and see the practical application of the knowledge they will gain during their studies.

In addition to professional guidance, such events contribute to the adaptation of students to the university environment, the formation of a friendly atmosphere in the academic group and the development of communication between students. Informal communication, shared impressions and new experiences help first-year students integrate into student life more quickly and feel part of a creative community.
