In 2024, KNUTD became a member of the European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA). ELIA is a leading multidisciplinary European network in the field of higher art education and research. Uniting about 280 members in 54 countries, ELIA represents the interests of more than 350,000 students of various art specialties.

On June 15, 2026, Kalyna Pashkevych, Dean of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD, represented the university at the ELIA General Assembly, which is held annually.

At the online meeting of the organization's participants, Maria Hansen, Executive Director, Susan Starmer, President of ELIA, and members of the ELIA board reported on the financial aspects of ELIA's activities, and also discussed organizational issues - approved the regulations on the election of representatives to the board and the president.

By voting of representatives of educational institutions, ELIA members, the financial report for 2025 was approved. Those present also discussed plans for the next year and planned events.
