The Department of Philology and Translation at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design continues its long-standing cooperation with the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which provides students with opportunities to participate in large-scale international events and gain practical professional experience.

On May 27, 2026, at the invitation of Anna Liubyma, Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, students of the educational program “English Language: Translation in Business Communication”, Oleksandra Unhurian, Mariana Haiduk, Artem Zavhorodnii, Oryna Bertash, Anastasiia Halat and Anastasiia Yukhymenko, took part in the 6th Ukrainian Diaspora Business Forum “Global Ukrainians 2026: From Solidarity to Joint Action.” The event brought together representatives of Ukrainian communities, business associations, professional networks, and international partners from numerous countries worldwide.

Participants discussed the role of the Ukrainian diaspora in supporting Ukraine internationally, attracting investments, and developing business, cultural, and educational ties, as well as mechanisms of cooperation between Ukrainians in Ukraine and abroad aimed at national recovery and development.

During the event, future philologists and translators had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the organization of international business forums, communicate with participants from different countries, observe professional communication in a multilingual environment, and gain valuable experience for their future professional activities.

The staff of the Department of Philology and Translation at KNUTD sincerely thanks the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for its long-term cooperation, trust, and for creating opportunities for students’ professional development.
