On June 24, the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design held a meeting of its newly elected Supervisory Board. The event was important for KNUTD and marked the beginning of a new stage of interaction between the university and representatives of science, business, culture, and the public sector.

The Supervisory Board includes leading statesmen, scientists, heads of enterprises, representatives of creative industries, and public organizations:

• Danylyshyn Bohdan Mykhailovych - Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Minister of Economy of Ukraine (2007-2010), Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology;
• Bahriy Petro Ivanovych - Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board, President of the Association "Drug Manufacturers of Ukraine", founder of the Foundation for the Promotion of the Development of the National Art Museum of Ukraine, Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine;
• Suleymanov Seit-Bekir Sinaver Ogli - Secretary of the Supervisory Board, founder and director of Takava LLC, Doctor of Philosophy;
• Borisov Yuriy Borisovich - Chairman of the Board of the Union of Designers of Ukraine, Candidate of Art History, Associate Professor;
• Vynogradskaya Golda Yevgeniyevna - President of the Public Organization "International Movement PRORYV", Doctor of Philosophy in Education;
• Komisarov Serhiy Valentinovich - Honored Journalist of Ukraine, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, co-founder of the International Art Association "Return Alive!";
• Prokhorovsky Andriy Stanislavovich - Director of LLC "RA.DA";
• Seitablayev Akhtem Shevketovych - Director, actor, TV presenter, teacher, and public figure;
• Sokolovsky Oleksandr Benyaminovych - Founder of the group of companies "Textile-Contact", co-founder of Ukrainian Fashion Week, member of the Presidium of the Council of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine, member of the Expert Group on Improving the Public Procurement System "ProZorro";
• Tatarenko Valentyn Andriyovych - Director of the G.V. Kurdyumov Institute of Metal Physics, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the NAS of Ukraine.

During the meeting, members of the Supervisory Board met with the newly elected rector of KNUTD, Doctor of Economic Sciences and Professor Oleksandra Olshanska, who presented a strategic vision for the university's development in the coming years.

In her speech, the rector thanked the members of the Supervisory Board for their willingness to contribute to the development of the university and emphasized that KNUTD will continue to work to ensure consistently high-quality education, the development of science, international partnerships, and the strengthening of cooperation with employers.

Oleksandra Olshanska also noted that after winning the rector's election, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine concluded a five-year contract with her. During the signing, the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Oksen Lisovyi, highly appreciated the university's activities under martial law, noting that KNUTD ensured the continuity of the educational process in a face-to-face format thanks to the safe learning conditions created.

Special attention was paid during the meeting to the modern challenges facing higher education institutions. The participants discussed the issues of the modernization of the material and technical base, the development of the educational infrastructure, integration into the European Higher Education Area, and the preservation of the university's competitive advantages.

During the constructive discussion, the members of the Supervisory Board made several proposals for the further development of KNUTD. Particular attention was paid to strengthening cooperation with business, developing innovative activities, supporting student initiatives, expanding international cooperation, and popularizing the creative achievements of the university community.

The members of the Supervisory Board confirmed their readiness to actively contribute to implementing the university's strategic goals, drawing on their professional experience, expert knowledge, and extensive partnerships. It was emphasized that the main mission of the Supervisory Board is to support the university's development, promoting its openness, competitiveness, and integration into the international educational and scientific space.

A special area of cooperation will be supporting the projects of students and teachers, as well as their participation in all-Ukrainian and international exhibitions, competitions, forums, and professional events.

At the end of the meeting, the members of the Supervisory Board wished the university staff, students, and teachers new professional achievements, successful realization of creative potential, inspiration, unity, and confident development.
