On June 26, 2026, Chisinau (Republic of Moldova) hosted the 8th International Festival "Students’ Fashion Day 2026". Organized by the Faculty of Design of the Technical University of Moldova, the event has become an authoritative academic platform for showcasing the creative achievements of young designers and strengthening international cooperation between specialized higher education institutions.
The Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design was represented at the festival by a delegation consisting of Nataliia Lesiuta, Director of the Student Fashion and Creativity Center, alongside talented students from the KNUTD Department of Art and Costume Design — Yevheniia Chmykh and Daniil Pohrebniak.

The students' projects were supervised by Iryna Chubotina, PhD, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Art and Costume Design, and Iryna Davydenko, Associate Professor at the Department of Art and Costume Design.

This year, the festival brought together creative youth and leading higher education institutions from various European countries, including Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, and Croatia.
